Museum Abtei Liesborn

Set in the baroque abbot's residence of the former Benedictine abbey at Liesborn, this museum presents art and cultural history of the Warendorf district from the Middle Ages to today. Traditional art sits alongside work by young regional artists. The Liesborn Gospel Book is the star piece of the collection. An extension opened in 2004 adds to the abbey rooms.
