Jewish history, culture and religion in Austria are the subject here, across two buildings: the Palais Eskeles on Dorotheergasse and the Misrachi House on Judenplatz. The museum continues the tradition of the world's first modern Jewish museum, opened in Vienna in 1895, and looks at both the past and present of Jewish life in the country.
