Fürstliche Schatzkammer Thurn und Taxis

Housed in the former royal stables of St. Emmeram Palace, this treasury displays art gathered by the House of Thurn und Taxis over three centuries. More than 2,200 pieces passed to the State of Bavaria in the 1990s and are shown here as a branch of the Bavarian National Museum. The core of the collection thus stays in Regensburg, close to its original setting.
