This private museum in Donaueschingen shows the natural history and historical collections of the Princes of Fürstenberg, along with modern art. The collections grew in the 19th century from the idea of educating the public, and were built up together with the Baar society. Plaster casts of ancient sculptures were a popular teaching aid at the time.
