Deutsches Stuhlbaumuseum Rabenau / Sachsen

Rabenau was a town of chairmakers for centuries, and this technology museum tells that story. It occupies the former stable of the outer farm of Rabenau castle, whose vaulted ground floor once housed a chair manufactory. Visitors learn how chairmaking grew into the town's trade from around 1600.
