Deutsches Peitschenmuseum

Killer was once a centre of whip-making: with little farmland in the narrow valley, residents turned to producing driving and stick whips for carts and carriages. The museum, in the former railway station building, shows the history and making of these whips. At the peak in the early 20th century, the village turned out 5,000 a day.
