Couven-Museum

This house on the Hühnermarkt shows how Aachen's townspeople lived in the 18th and early 19th centuries, across three floors of furnished rooms. You will find period rooms in Directoire, Empire and Biedermeier styles, a historic pharmacy, a kitchen and a collection of faience tiles. It is named after the Baroque architects of the Couven family.
