This museum recalls the Brothers Grimm, who spent part of their childhood in Steinau, where their father served as district magistrate. It occupies the former magistrate's house of 1562, a Renaissance building that was once part of a farmstead with a coach house and barn. The displays follow the lives and work of the brothers.
