A water-powered forge in Dassel, this technology and farming museum sits in a half-timbered house with the Spülig brook running through it. A smithy has worked on the spot since 1727. The Neimke family lived and worked here for eight generations until 1985, and the household goods they left behind show how they lived day to day.
