Bergisches Museum für Bergbau, Handwerk und Gewerbe

This museum in Bensberg covers the area's former ore mining and the craft and rural way of life in the 19th and early 20th centuries. A show mine has been set up since 1929 in the old Türmchenhaus on the Burggraben, a building that had long served as a prison. The museum opened in 1928.
