Baracke Wilhelmine

A surviving barrack on the site of a former Nazi labour camp near Neuenkirchen tells the history of the ground: labour camp, naval hospital, Protestant hospital and finally army barracks. It also commemorates the forced labourers and the victims of Farge concentration camp and of the building of the nearby Valentin submarine bunker. A separate section covers the Lebensborn programme. The exhibition opened in 2007/08 and has kept growing.
