Bajuwarenhof Kirchheim
Kirchheim bei München, Bayern
A farmstead of the 6th and 7th centuries, rebuilt as faithfully as archaeological finds from the Munich region allow. This open-air museum on about 2,800 square metres shows the everyday farming life and work of the Merovingian period in practice. Buildings, garden and fields were created with many volunteers, who also run the site.
