Waldmuseum Göhrde
Göhrde, Niedersachsen
The forest museum is the gateway to the Göhrde, Lower Saxony's largest historically old woodland. The exhibition covers the forest's history, plants and animals; in the wildlife cinema the animals tell their own stories, and a wolf from the Göhrde pack has now joined them. Outside, signposted trails lead into the woods, including a 5.5 km nature trail, and there is a forest maze.
