Vitrážové muzeum Libyně

Stained glass fills the windows of the restored church of St Giles in the small village of Libyně. The panels are copies of well-known European windows, arranged by artistic style starting with the Romanesque. You can see St Lawrence modelled on a window in Augsburg cathedral, and St Giles inspired by one in Chartres. The museum grew out of the rescue of a decaying church and opened to the public in 2022.
