Rheinland-Pfälzisches Freilichtmuseum Bad Sobernheim

Four complete villages stand in the Nachtigallental, made up of 36 historic buildings that were taken down elsewhere and rebuilt faithfully. They represent the Hunsrück and Nahe, the Middle Rhine and Westerwald, the Moselle and Eifel, and Rheinhessen and the Palatinate. A walk through them lets you compare how village life once looked across the regions of Rhineland-Palatinate.
