Scales, weights and measuring instruments from almost every country and era fill this house in Kleinsassen, in the Rhön hills. Around 40,000 pieces are spread over seven rooms and four floors in the former home of the painter and hotelier Julius von Kreyfelt. You will see tailors' ells, pharmacists' balances, livestock scales and weights from antiquity to the present. Guided tours explain the objects and their social and historical background.
