The museum occupies the town hall of 1859. It covers the history of Radomsko and its surroundings from prehistory to the present, plus an ethnographic exhibition, and a gallery with paintings by artists such as Axentowicz, Weiss and Simmler. The former town jail holds an exhibition on Radomsko in the Second World War, and the museum also includes the Tatar Homestead on Częstochowska street.
