This museum commemorates the victims of German camps from the occupation years: the punitive and investigative camp at Żabikowo near Poznań and the extermination camp at Chełmno nad Nerem. It looks after memorial sites in both places. A visit is an encounter with the hard history of the war, on the very ground where it happened.
