This museum focuses on the history of Ełk and the Masuria region, with historical, archaeological, ethnographic and numismatic collections plus railway rolling stock. It is based at the Ełk Narrow Gauge Railway, so a visit comes with a railway flavour. Temporary exhibitions have covered topics such as the Yotvingians and Christmas customs in Masuria.
