The museum has two parts: a building opened in 2015 in the Dominican Quarter on Mickiewicza Street, and the chapter house of the cathedral of St John the Baptist. The chapter house holds a permanent exhibition of sacred and archaeological finds, and together the two sites tell the history of the Kamień land.
