Muzeum Bursztynu w Kołobrzegu

Baltic amber, a fossil resin some 40 million years old, is the star of this Kołobrzeg museum. The story runs from prehistory to the present through discoveries, legends and the properties of a stone long made into jewellery, figurines and amulets. Groups can join workshops showing amber working techniques, old and new, and one of the exhibits is a ship made of amber.
