Museum "Zum Pulvermacher"

In the former home of a gunpowder maker, this local museum tells the story of Elsbethen, above all the black powder production that was once an important trade here. Three floors hold thousands of items, from prehistoric fossils to the present day. Farm and craft collections, a historic bread oven and a device for measuring explosive power round out the picture.
