Münchhausen-Museum

A sturdy old building next to Baron von Münchhausen's birthplace, now the town hall, is the oldest in Bodenwerder and holds the museum. It tells the life of the famous teller of tall tales, sets it against the events of the 18th century, and shows how his adventures grew into a worldwide bestseller. It lies in the park of the former manor farm.
