Městské muzeum a galerie Dačice

Housed in the New Castle in Dačice, this museum and gallery tells the story of the town and its surroundings. You can see the oldest archaeological finds, the Dačice Gradual, an exhibit on the local sugar-making industry, and displays on people tied to the region. Other exhibits look at everyday village life and the craft skills of earlier generations. Modernised exhibitions have opened, and changing art shows run in the gallery spaces.
