Kunstsammlung Jena

Twentieth-century art is the focus of this municipal collection in Jena, running from classical modernism through a large body of East German art to contemporary work. Nearly 5,000 paintings, prints, sculptures and objects belong to it. It continues the tradition of the Jena art association, which made the town a centre of the avant-garde in the early 20th century.
