Künstlerhaus Gasteiger
Utting am Ammersee, Bayern
The sculptor Mathias Gasteiger and his wife Anna Sophie, known for her flower paintings, built their home on the Ammersee between 1902 and 1913, complete with landscape park and outbuildings. In the rooms where they lived you will find the original Art Nouveau furnishings, historic photographs, a selection of his sculptures and a collection of her paintings. The whole ensemble is a showcase of Munich Art Nouveau, and the garden is worth a stroll too.
