Kloster Weltenburg – Museum im Felsenkeller

In the historic rock cellar of Weltenburg Abbey, the exhibition walks you through a thousand years of monastery, church and brewery history. You will see fossils from when a subtropical sea covered the Weltenburg Gorge, Neolithic amphorae, seals of Cosmas Damian Asam and the tools of the stuccoists. Photographs and films add a look behind the abbey walls.
