This is a place to see how costume jewellery was made industrially: a jewellery factory from 1873 with its machinery, including the chain-making machine, plus the manufacturer's villa. Displays cover production, Art Deco jewellery of the 1920s and the social history of the workforce. The villa also shows contemporary jewellery design.
