Heimathaus Plettenberg

The Heimathaus on Kirchplatz is devoted to the founding of the town and its industrial history in the 19th and 20th centuries. Furniture from a local manufacturer's villa is arranged as a period room, alongside industrial photographs from the 1990s. Two models stand out: Plettenberg as it was before the great fire of 1725, with its town fortifications, and Schwarzenberg Castle. The exhibition fills five rooms.
