Freilichtmuseum Vorau

On about a hectare, some twenty old rural buildings from the eastern Upper Styria region stand around a central square: a farmhouse, field granaries, a mill, a smithy and woodcutters' huts. They are furnished with old household items and farm tools. Alongside come tools of fading trades such as wheelwrights, coopers and shingle makers, a historic home pharmacy and a fully equipped dentist's surgery.
