Dommuseum Ottonianum Magdeburg

Opposite Magdeburg Cathedral, this museum is arranged by theme rather than chronology: Emperor Otto the Great and Queen Editha, the archbishopric of Magdeburg, and the archaeological digs in and around the cathedral. Highlights include Queen Editha's lead coffin, textiles from her burial, grave goods of two archbishops and Roman building elements from Ottonian structures on the cathedral square.
