Automobile welt eisenach
Eisenach, Thüringen
This car museum traces Eisenach's motoring history from 1899: the Dixi and BMW years before the war, EMW, IFA and Wartburg in East Germany, and the Opel models after reunification. It stands on the old Automobilwerk Eisenach factory grounds, in a hall dating from 1935, close to the River Hörsel.
