Völkerkundliche Sammlung der Philipps-Universität

Run as a teaching collection of the university, this is where students learn to work with ethnographic objects. A display room in the storage building on Rudolf-Bultmann-Straße offers a look at the range of the holdings and shows some of their highlights. The department building on Deutschhausstraße also hosts photo and changing exhibitions, partly made with students. The collection began with loans from Berlin in 1929.
