Villa Schöningen
Potsdam, Brandenburg
An Italian-style villa close to the Glienicke Bridge now serves as an exhibition house for contemporary art. Ludwig Persius designed it in 1843 for the court marshal of Prince Carl of Prussia. Restored and opened in 2009, it stands in the middle of the Potsdam palaces and parks World Heritage site.
