Stormarnsches Dorfmuseum

A farmhouse from 1756, originally built as the village smithy, houses this volunteer-run local museum in Hoisdorf. It shows village life in northern Germany up to the dawn of the industrial age: working life and home furnishings, poetry and art, and aspects of the natural environment. It also shows how major historical events played out in everyday village life.
