Schleifmühle Schwerin

A water wheel drives the machinery of this old stone-grinding mill, where visitors can see how stone was once worked. It stands at the outflow of the Faulen See in Ostorf, near the palace gardens of Schwerin, and became a showpiece site in 1985. The grinder's former home, the Schleifmüllerhaus, belongs to the ensemble.
