Römermuseum Pachten
Dillingen/Saar, Rheinland-Pfalz
A former farmhouse from the early 20th century in Pachten houses this museum on the town's Roman past. It centres on the Gallo-Roman settlement of Contiomagus, a trading hub, and the fort built later. Many pieces come from the large cremation cemetery, alongside finds from the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages and the Celtic period.
