Postmuseum Friesoythe

Housed in Friesoythe's former town hall, this museum shows about 1,000 items on 300 square metres, tracing postal and telecommunications history from around 1750. You will see optical telegraphs, an 1850 Morse apparatus, cable technology and the tools of telecom workers, up to devices from the smartphone era. A 1910 post office room, letterboxes, uniforms and letters round off the visit.
