In Singen, near Stadtilm, beer is still brewed the old way, with spring water and a steam engine. The museum brewery is the smallest in Thuringia, and visitors can see its historic machinery. Groups can arrange a guided tour, and there is a beer garden on site. The brewery's roots go back to 1700.
