Museum im Schloss Elisabethenburg

Built in the Baroque style between 1682 and 1692, the palace of the Meiningen dukes now holds a museum on more than 300 years of history, art and music. The residence welcomed figures such as Liszt, Brahms and Queen Victoria. It forms part of the Meininger Museen and stands on Schlossplatz.
