Museum Helgoland
Helgoland, Schleswig-Holstein
This museum on Helgoland covers the island's natural history and local past. The courtyard holds small lobster huts, each with its own theme, and a wooden lighthouse; a replica of the Helgoland stone cist is its best-known piece. A bunker tunnel in the Unterland serves as a history bunker, and civil-defence bunkers in the Oberland can be seen on guided tours.
