Modemuseum

Inside the Festinbau of Ludwigsburg Palace, this museum shows clothing and fashion accessories from the Rococo era through to the 1960s. The displays go beyond style to touch on ideas of beauty, hygiene and everyday life in each period. The staging is deliberately dramatic, which makes a walk through two centuries of dress feel like an experience rather than a lecture.
