This museum tells the story of Gregor Johann Mendel and how his work led to the science of genetics. It occupies rooms of the Augustinian abbey in Old Brno, where Mendel lived and worked as abbot. You will find an exhibition on his life and legacy, and the building also has a lecture hall and a café.
