LVR-Industriemuseum, Schauplatz Oberhausen

Old machines, some still running, and workshops that bang, whirr and hammer: this site is part of the LVR Industrial Museum, which presents the Rhineland's industrial past at eight locations. In Oberhausen these include the Altenberg zinc factory, the St. Antony ironworks and the Peter Behrens building. The collection runs from small everyday items to multi-ton machines, showing working life during industrialisation.
