This museum on the edge of Kirchdorf is devoted to the history, culture and natural world of the Baltic island of Poel. It grew out of a collection that teachers began around 1930, gathering geological finds and everyday objects of local life to use in lessons. Today the displays fill a thoroughly renovated building.
