Glasmuseum Weißwasser

Glassmaking in the Lusatia region is the subject here, told through more than 60,000 pieces. The museum occupies the villa that glass manufacturer Wilhelm Gelsdorf had built in 1924–25. You will find Lusatian glass of the 19th and 20th centuries, glass made for science and industry, and historic workshops and tools used to make, work and decorate glass.
