Gedenkstätte Berliner Mauer

Along Bernauer Straße, a strip of land about 1.4 kilometres long recalls the division of Berlin and those who died at the Wall. You can see a 70-metre stretch of the border installations, the Chapel of Reconciliation and the Window of Remembrance. Across the street are a visitor centre and documentation centre, and a further exhibition is in Nordbahnhof S-Bahn station.
