Franz-Liszt-Geburtshaus
Raiding, Burgenland
The composer Franz Liszt was born in Raiding in 1811, and this house, part of a 16th-century manor estate, is now a museum. A concert hall next door was added in 2006. Liszt's father worked here for the Esterházy family as a sheep steward and played cello in their orchestra.
