Behind the façade on Cottbus's Altmarkt stands a pharmacy site with roots in the 16th century. The museum shows a pharmacy interior from the 1930s and one from the GDR era, along with a poison and herb chamber and a galenic laboratory. The listed complex includes the street-front house and the Old Lion Pharmacy in the courtyard.
