Architectural history is the subject of this university museum, the largest collection of its kind in Germany. It traces back to a gift of architectural designs from King Ludwig II to the polytechnic school in 1868. Its exhibition rooms are in the same building as the Pinakothek der Moderne on Arcisstraße.
